71TSS had a transplant recently, and now is the proud owner of a manual gearbox, new shifter and 3 pedals!!!

We had problems with the intermediate shaft being too long, the wiring not working exactly as everyone had said it would (i think the car was originally wired by dodgy brothers incorproated...), and the clutch not disengaging completely, but everything is going okay, and she's back on the road.

Everything else bolted up okay, cept the starter motor that needed the manual plate to fit properly. We managed to cut the auto plate to fit so no dramas there also. New pics found here for the other updates http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?p=847373#post847373

Thanks to Magtone for the parts, and Ben for all his hard work :)

I thought i sent that manual plate with all ya stuff(did you forget about needing it or was it different?)

yeah got the manual plate, but for some stupid reason when i had the opportunity to undo the 2 10mm bolts that hold it on, i just didn't. by the time i realised that it was different i was in no mood to pull the gearbox back out so i just modified the auto one.

i did hold the manual one upto the auto one and checked the bolt holes and they lined up perfectly. the only difference is the starter motor mounting which i didn't notice at the time.
