you just adjust the wiring at the back of the radio you fit

did the TN elite steering wheel have radio buttons ?

Think he is asking what sort of after market radio can be used?

There used to be a few that could be used and still retain the steering wheel controls, I would say best bet is to go to JB or similar as most on here will only be guessing like me :)

Thanks Buffy and M/magna, yes I was wondering about after market, although an original would have been fun :). I anm not sure what model this is, it seems a bit of a limo inside though. Trying to get pics done today an if anyone can tell me what it is, Great:thumbsup:

for a TN

factory radio was ""AWA"" in that

my TP fits a ""Kenwood"" radio

the steering wheel audio
is remote control by the owners hand book

so the radio that you fit must need that remote pick up function

I thought it was a wiring loom

good hunting

Buffy, I found a radio, it's from a TP update I guess you could call it, I found the difference in the digital dash now. Anyhow this radio has a cassette and an equaliser built in and of course the remote function steering wheel. Do you or anyone else know if these are coded to the steering wheel transmitter in anyway or will they work on any wheel that has the capability. Also, are the radio's pin coded at all for security?? If so, I guess I am off to get the vehicle VIN off the var the radio was in.

While they used a signal, they sent the signal down a cable. The same set up was used in the KR XI and the TR Elite
