I've been towing with a 7 X 4 trailer (220kg) and heaviest load was 3/4 tonne of crusher dust.

So nowhere near what u want to.

It would PROBABLY be able to handle it, as long as you don't push the 380 too hard. Is your trailer braked or unbraked?

I tow a Camper Trailer with electric brakes. Weighs in around 1200 to 1300 kg. Tows it very well once you get going. I am using stabiliser bars to hold the back up but dont realy need them. It just holds it all together better. One problem with it is it loves the fuel with the camper on the back

I would run a trans cooler just to be on the safe side. Keep the trans temps down and it will last much longer, have more consistent shifts and be more reliable.
