anyone know if r31 headlights will fit a first gen? anybody done it before?

Im glad im not the only one who was thinking about this. I have the passenger side headlight from an r31. If it was the drivers side, I would have taken mine out and see if i can get it to fit.

There is no way im going to try it with the other side. Hard enough replacing the globe with the stupid power steering hose in the way let alone the headlight.

the r31 lights seem to have a slightly different shape. if they dont go straight in, they might fit with some modding of the grille.

i have taken that headlight out before and it was a pain in the rectum compared to the drivers side
