If replacing engine mounts, do people go for rubber or polyurethane engine mounts? I want ones that will last a while. I've done a search but there are too many threads to sift through.
Just get a solid one from megatron, you get a bit of a drone from the engine and a rougher idle but it's not unbearable. If you get a stock rubber replacement you'll just break it again.

no whiteline doesnt do engine mounts nor do fulcrum they are all suspension specialists, for a poly mount i think only rpw can do them i think.

Solid engine mounts = metal, not what you want for a street driven car. The "megatron" ones are polywhateverthane and I believe are guaranteed to never break (don't quote me on that however). Apparently the softest ones will increase vibration slightly over stock, but as you said - not unbearable.
I've got the hardest ones in my car, and absolutely love them. But mines a manual, so rough idle isn't an issue.

not having a stab here bud, but check out there new "turbo" egine mount range, from fulcrum (who supply whiteline) i only mentions it as a friend of mine who has a toyota, had these poly mounts put in his car and told me besides being great, they also made for a size for front wheel drives, so its a matter of taking in you old mount and they put a poly into the housing...whether they are car specific or not im not sure? on their website they are only listed for most of the hectikal 4's (s15, lines, chasers)
Check it out
