ok my sister just brought a ts 4 cyl one auto but it is pretty gut less so im thking rear muffler and filter will make it go any better i did it to my te 3.0 litre went lot better just some input will help thanks

just coz yours died doesnt meant u have to take it out on all other 4's........

Yeah, just do the basics, pod/panel, muffler swap (or a cat back exhaust if you want), extractors.

Should get it going nicer!

Also some new plugs and leads wouldn't go astray, also check for any corrosion on the rotor button, that robs power too.

I'm just saying I wouldnt bother cos it would still be an auto and the auto's arent fast!! you have a manual, he has an auto, how is it related to you? I've seen ressurector acknowledge that the auto 4cyls are slow, and so has "TheDifference", so why am I the only one that people are pointing out? Lay off.

Auto's are slow but sometimes you just gotta work with what you've got and be proud of it. Personally think that telling someone not to bother with modifying their car is a little unconstructive. However, you are entitled to your opinion as much as anyone else and it may (or may not) be good advice.

I'd go with KB, get extractors, cat back and air filter/pod. Good mods that will give you a little noticeable power and alot of noticeable noise :D :D

its not so much that all 4's are slow........... just ours.

and yeh why not mod it. IT has nothing to do with trying to turn your car into a beast, trying to drag everyone off at the lights. It has to do with learning on how the car works, what can be done to ones car, just a bit of fun and even maybe just a little pride in the car that you own.

pseudomorphous is right. I think were all aware our 4's and autos are slow as fu*k. Were not trying to make it a 12second car. Just wanna seperate us from the "standard magna". Individuality. Get me?
Same kinda rule with how people dress. Think about it
