Well, sort of.. I bought it for my Mum as a cheap car that we wont cry about when it gets shaken to pieces on the rough country roads it will live on. Plus, for the dollars, it was impossible to beat for a decent largish wagon.
Scored a 94 TS 2.6 Exec wagon with 175K km and 8 months reg for $1250. Spent another 300 on a RWC, transfer fees and a service/ s/h towbar and some random bits like a seatbelt/rack boot and had to change a welch plug at the back (inlet manifold off dammit...). Cheap car  Bit rough around the edges, but it all works and no big issues.
Has a bit of a chain rattle, but should be ok for a bit yet, and it doesn't blow smoke (!!) even.
But, as the username suggests, I am a French car driver myself. Now before all the comments kick in, i am going out on a limb and say that this thing is way more tricky to work on than any of my trusty Renaults!! Not had much to do with Jap cars, so maybe I am just used to the euro way of doing things, but jeez... The electrics have been doing my head in a bit - annoying check engine light was a pain to fix! But I do like the way you can get fault codes out with a voltmeter (then again i have never had to look for a fault code on the renos, so not sure which is better there  ).
But you will be sure to hear more questions on this thing as time goes by - i seem to have become the family mechanic, so better learn my way around the (hopefully) trusty Magna lol
