I have this recent problem with my battery especially in the cold morning where my radio losses all it settings. I make a measurment on the battery it reads 12.25V but as soon as I switched to ACC, the voltage dropped to 11.9V and that might explain why my radio loses all settings in the cold morning. Hence, I am thinking of changing my battery and was wondering if there is any good recomendation into buying which brand of battery that would not drop below 12v when I turned on ACC for my magna TE. I have dvd player and amplifier installed into the car as well. Thanks.

yeah 450 rrp from most places, still trying to see if they will let me CO them in at work >.<

i dont think thats the problem... i've been having charging system issues with it regularly dropped to 10v and the point of stalling. actually that sounds about right to me... the voltage will drop when load is applied to it. it is only a 12v battery remember.

i'd be checking fuses and pulling the HU and testing the wiring to ensure there is a constant 12v source to it.

Check out some audio stores for yellow tops. Seem to have the cheapest prices.
