Things are finally coming together.

The intercooler mods have been done and we expect to see some immediet improvements as teh average tempature drops from teh previous 40 - 50 degree mark to around 30 degrees on boost and normal running.

The intercooler kit is being fitted this week as well and if everything goes to plan - going for retuning on Friday night to retune for the cooler tempatures, as well as the 2nd map for the 25 - 50hp shot of nitruos. Only going to run enough nitrous to drop the average air tempature to a consistant 21 degrees celcious. Any cooler than this and we acutally lose horsepower.

The only sad thing is I still can only run the car at the drags this weekend with the small slicks so don't expect to drop my times down too much probbaly only somewhere around a 12.3 at around 115mph.

If I can scrape some more money in or hopefully sell the slicks that I do have at this moment :D hint hint - then I can get the bigger ones and then run into the 11's.

Can't wait to see the new horsepower figure on Friday night when we run the boost up to around 14 - 15 psi. Will copy the dyno sheet when we do.

only a month back i had my fave toy stolen, from out the front of home. blood red 1968 datsun 1000 2 door Deluxe, original down to the 12" alloys, all of 660kg and about 50kw, yet they somehow managed to leave long burnouts just round the block on its signature skinny tyres and track, after it had been lovingly nursed by someone for 35 yrs :(

That's totally ***** up!!! I am angry and it's not even my car. I suppose where possible it's always a good idea to check up on your car every so often if it's insecure in a way but that's just totally messed up that someone would do that. I think If It was my car and I caught them doing that they would have a permanent imprint of my knuckles on their forehead. What can I say? Life is full of tossers. I feel your pain. :x :x
