Hey all,
Finally got a new exhaust fitted on the Verada this morning. Should have seen the cracks in the original exhaust (photo's below)!

Anyways, was tossing up between a Redback muffler with Tip or a Magnaflow.
Cost me a little extra, but ended up going with the Magnaflow.
Installed 1x resonator and 1x hotdog. Did not want to risk the droning. Must say, has a nice little bass note at idle and sounds great when I gun it a bit.
Got the Bling, but still tried to keep it understated.
What do we think?

Looks nice.
I want to get twin exhausts out the back of mine (when I can afford it).
Rear bar is set up already (extra cut out).
I was originally thinking of a couple of redback mufflers with twin round tips on each.
But after seeing this on your car (and a couple of others here on AMC) - I'm starting to reconsider this. May go for twin Magnaflow's.
Was there much cost difference between a Redback + tips and a Magnaflow?
Also, are the tips chrome or stainless steel?

"We" think it looks real tasty. Not so sure about the painted taillights on the VH Commodore in the background tho.....

Well, the magnaflow muffler was about $400 on its own. Redbacks were gonna be about $160 plus tip (which for a good one is anywhere from $60 to $100).
The whole magnaflow muffler is stainless.
Cause i opted for the magnaflow though, the guy recommended chucking in a hotdog aswell as the resonator cause it would otherwise be much louder than the redbacks.
Now it has a nice subtle tone at idle, very nice burble when u punch it, and no drone when cruising.
Plus, the pick up is much smoother and definitely noticeable!

It sounded atrocious!

Looks good. Any chance of a video clip of it? I'm thinking about a Magnaflow for when I upgrade my exhaust but I'd love to hear one first :)

That sounds awesome. Whenever I do my exhaust I'll do new piping + Magnaflow + resonator. No hot dog tho
that sounds sweet, none of that raspy crap and a quiet idle.
