Have noted that a number of threads have tried to benefit members with giving part numbers and helpful tips. However these threads have been corrupted and then becoming irrelevant.

Is there a file or website that people are able to get part numbers for items?

As this makes the Parts blokes job at MM easier and more precise, ie not ordering in wrong part then having to wait for the right one. Plus possible pricing because it does sound professional when ordering.

What do others think? Is there such a site?

What a great idea. Surely such a thing exists.

Interesting when I was trying to buy a seat base for my TF, no longer available, no supereceding p/no. Taking a chance with a new TW(?) one to see if it fits.

This could be the challenge with a parts list, keeping it up to date.

Still in all a great idea, let's see what everyone else suggests.

cheers

i have a feeling that you need to pay for the licence to the program, there program uses VIN code lookup so that immediately excludes the general public for legality reasons, Also MyTF PM BEJ1OS about TF seats im positive he has a couple of sets laying around his place.

People have given details of who to contact about seats.

What about those who say they have inside knowledge of a Mitsu Dealer?

Maybe there is a way of PMing without harassing these people to extend the source of tech info.

Can a read only file be established so that it can't be corrupted with ideal chatter?

With my other vehicle, it is over 35yrs old and i have a workshop and parts manual and the car club have gone to extraordinary lengths in producing a Tech Manual.

Shall trawl through past threads to see what has been found and report back in a fortnight.

Hey all

Thanks for the seat advice too. I have ordered a TH seat from Zupps parts which I will pick up in a day or two. The p/n is MR920556. $82.90. Let you know if it fits later this week.

I will try and remember to ask about parts manuals etc.

Hi peoples

Got my $82 bit of foam today. It does look different to whats in the car though. I'll let you all know how it goes, will fit it on the weekend. Really hurts my butt with the worn edge and want to get to it before the cloth gets worn through.

BJ310s might be interested buying in a seat base if this one doesn't fit.

Thanks for the suggestions too.

Hope I haven't buggered this thread up on you with my waffle about seats. I'll open a new thread to continue the seat topic.

Hope you get more suggestions in time. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any more useful info.

cheers
