this is my first mod to do with electrics apart from head unit/speakers.
my car is a manual carby glx. the donor car is an auto efi executive
i have sussed out all of the wiring except the power source, the wiring diagram (attached) says that the power joins to the wipers in between the switch and the fuse box.
iv followed the power cable from the switch and up behind the fuse box but cant find where the power joins to the wipers becos i cant follow the wire high enough up the dash.
what should i join the power to? should i find another power source?
i dont want to take the dash out.
thanks

the guts of my drivers mirror is completely stuffed its all broken so even if i could get the motors working the levers wouldnt move the mirror anyway

can you pull the mirror apart to replace the motor ?
my problem is in the wire running across the door hinge
it must be broken .no volts there

im not too sure. cos the mirror i got had the glass alredy missing. i was hoping to just replace the glass at first. but then found that the insides didnt work anyway.
the wire that goes through the door can be unplugged at the mirror under the black plastic cap just above the door trim and also unplugs just under the carpet. so you can replace that piece. hope that helps
ill upload a picture tomorro which points out the connections
