Hi Guys,

Just a quick couple of pics for a job well done by 6sik6trimming. White leather gear boot with black stitching arrived yesterday as promised, and very happy with the result :)

looks hot! As does that console!

I'll second the work of 6sik6trimming i have a black leather gear boot (auto) and my door cards all done by him and they look fresh. Console lid is in the post as we speak too, so pics soon.

Did you paint that console or is it a custom job? And how does one get those chrome strips?

How much $$$ was the chrome stripping? I always thought it looked crap, but I only ever saw people use it on the ouside of the cars.

If i remember correctly, it was about $25 - $30 for the 10m. But don't quote me, it was a while ago.... And for reference, it doesn't like corners or bending. Most i could get it to bend without creasing was the part between the air vents in the centre console.

Davo!

it took me about 2 mins to install this one, it's not as time consuming as you'd think.

Looks pretty good.

Got any shots from further away to see how it fits in with the rest of the cabin?

Please O please ditch that chrome trimming it looks AWFUL.
Its way to thick to be inside....Ive seen some 3mm stuff which would look ALOT better on the inside from Kmart

Other then that stripping the boot does look nice. window winders look good too. I think you spend too much time in autobarn lol

Actually I really like the chrome trimming. Suits the white console nicely. Good job.
As you said it would be nice to find some more flexible trim that didn't craze like that around the corners.

Are you going to paint the coin tray behind the gear stick, ash tray and ciggy lighter white as well?

No i'm leaving them black. I don't want the whole interior white, the black white and chrome theme will stay.

TUFFTR- I like it, and that's what counts. It's my car, i'll do as i please with it.

Thats awesome.
Sorry for giving my view on the chrome...being an open forum and all.
I do as i please with my car too however i gladly accept criticism of things...your taking what i said too literal.

Where it meets down the bottom of the console needs to be rectified by either cutting both pieces on a 45 deg angle to join up or something else but how it looks down there is like you've just gotten bored with chrome stripping and stuck it everywhere.
I think if you had some smaller stripping you could make it tie in alot better and not stand out so much...
