Hey guys, ive done a search and cant find this anywhere, how do i get the covers off the speakers in the roof of a 2nd gen wagon? Do i have to remove the whole roofliner:( If yes, is it easy to remove? I wanna replace the speakers in the roof....

There are clipped on, just grab hold of them and pull down and they will come off.The speakers are held by 4 screws I think. There's not much room to put bigger speakers in there.
So you do not need to take the headlining out.

ah ok, ive tried sliding a screwdriver under them and they didnt seem to budge, can you even fit speakers with more depth in the hole under there? i worked out you cant fit nothing decent in the dashboard...
also while im at it, is it worth getting verada door pods, do they allow for speakers with a larger magnet to fit into them?

No you can't ,not that you want to as it sounds crap anyway, as for the front speakers in the doors yes it's worth doing same for the ones in the dash. The ones for the dash involves cutting away a bit of plastic to make them fit which is a bit of a pain to do .

Whats a better option for speakers in the rear then? mount them to the side of cargo area in the back? If yeah, do you just cut the wires running to the roof speakers and run them to the sidewalls of the cargo area into the new speakers, if yeah, where is the best spot to find the speaker wires running to the speakers in the roof and intercept them?
Has anyone got any pics of speaker setups in the back of 2nd gen wagons?
