howdy all

getting a paint job in the near future off a good friend [you know who you are ]anyhoo i am getting gloss black but am looking at a pigment/glitter to put in the mix i am considering red pigment mixed in what do you think, i am open to suggestions

Not a big fan of glitter jobs but gold could look good.

I agree, go the pigment, not the glitter. Ben's car (ARS55) looks black but actually has a green tinge through it which looks good in the sun.

That's the same with mine looks black but in direct sun or close headlights it have a green tinge. I think you should do this. If you can do it with gold that'd be PIMP red would be OK too to match your interior.

How much is it costing ya?

its mates rates so i wouldnt kno how much it would be normally but i am doing his whole interior [the whole door trim,dash,roof,pillars,parcel shelf,false floors,basically everything]and he is doing my paint job we are actually going to open our own business together doing paint/panel/interiors calling it 6sik6customs

if you mix a small amount of red pearl in with the black it looks quite good. from memory there is a colour called "cherry black" (cant remember what car brand its off) that is pretty much those two tinters (black and red pearl). you can play around with the proportions to figure out how visible the pearl is. plus it will kind of tie in to the red and black interior in your car.
