hey guys,
well i now have my KYB struts and springs to be delivered tomorrow and i was wondering as to how easy it is for a DIY attempt at installing them on my tr?
what ways are best to do so and are there any special tricks to it?

any help will be appreciated..

Ok Ive installed them on mine and took a while since it was all new to me but hey you have to learn somehow.
Um rear shocks are easy, 2 bolts on the top, 1 bolt doen the bottom. Just make sure the top strut plate thingy lines up with the new spring.
Front ones are a tad harder, i think 2? bolts hold it on at the bottom and 3 at the top.
Once they are in remember to get the heels aligned pronto.

its fairly straight forward. USe a good set of spring compressors and make sure you have someone there to help you who knows what they are doing if you are not 100%

yeah its pretty easy, just take note of any alignment adjusters when unbolting.

ok so the run down is,
back is easier then the front,
make sure the strut plate thingys line up with springs,
take note if alignment adjusters,
and get wheels aligned asap

all correct?

well now there has been a delay in their arrival.
as Shawn from Phillcom Rally was putting them into his car to deliver them to me, he noticed that the rear springs were for a TE. so he had to send them back and order the right ones. so hopefully i should get al the gear by about wednesday to make an attempt

i've got the actual hard copy of it in the glove box, but wanted to ask people that have had experience with doing a job like this as sometimes other ways can be found to work easier.
but yeah i will be sure to refer to it when i put them in.
