under driver/passenger seat
make up a beauty panel for the boot and mount it on that

']bolt it under the parcel shelf...

please do not do this
it's not good for the amp's proformance

do u have a spare tire if not make a custom floor and mount it to that or make a flase floor cut a piece out the size of the amp make a mounting board under that and run a perpex cover over it so it look's reseased under the floor

thanks its currently under the seat but basically sitting there just brassed in.. is it hard to get the passenger seat out. and i don't really want to put it in the boot cause i like my boot room and i have 2 10" subs in there at the moment

run it under the floor so it's like a false floor for the amp u will still have your room for your sub's and the amp won't get damaged at all

i guess it has something to do with the cooling of the amp
i know that i can't mount my rockford upside down due to the heatseeks on the amp

Why is it so hard to get your seat out???

For the 2nd gen you just unscrew 4 bolts and lift the seat out the car.

12 years??? You installed it when you were 6?

Most analouge amps can not be mounted upside down, due to internal circutry and old techniques, if you want flexability for installs, get a digital amp :)

And what does it do for you today? lol

Is there something wrong with throwing it on the back of the sub box?

Analog An electrical signal in which the Voltage (or current) Waveform has the same form as the original acoustical Sound waves.

Digital The representation of a quantity in numeric form, normally in binary. In audio, this means that waveforms of sounds are sampled at very high frequencies, and each sample is stored in numeric form, so that the Waveform can subsequently be reconstructed.

thats the difference between analog and digital .......... as asked early

Bolted my little brother's four channel amp onto the back of his sub box last weekend, works fine... He loves it. Little MTX thunder splits hammer up front giggity.
