Had a look at my radiator today. Found quite a few bugs and insects in the radiator fins towards the top of the radiator. ANy good suggestions on cleaning them out?

High Pressure Hose, ideally outside of the car, however this will require a drain/refill of coolant, if you dont want to do this then just give it a blast whilst still in the car.

as Gas_Hed has said, take the radgitator out and flush the bugs from the back(engine) side. Take it easy tho, as the fins are quite delicate.

even a garden hose from behind will help to clear some of the gunk out from the fins - but do be carefull with how much pressure and how... enthusiastic you get with it as the fins are quite delicate - if you end up bunching/pushing a lot of them together can cause cooling system issues by it not cooling efficiently.

best way is to take the radiator out completely, lets you get at the entire thing without drama.
while its out, youl be able to do a reverse flush of the radiator core as well - but as said it will require a cooling system refill too.
(another good time to flush the system too)

how bad is the radiator?

the reason the top has more bugs n stuff in it, is coz thats where they get thru the top grill on your bonnet - mine has bugs n dirt and stuff on the front, in a funky grill shaped pattern! hehe
