Can someone who has current model or recent model Pioneer splits with the tweeter fitted successfully into the standard Delta pods please give me a Pioneer model number so I can go scrounging / shopping!

My Pioneer TSC-160R tweeters are a perfect fit in the Verada tweeter holders...

my TS-C1625 fit fine, as do the TS-C160R's as there the exact same size.

I now have the problem of having to try to modify them to fit my new TS-C171PRS tweeters, There alot biggers than normal and there is no way 1 1/8" Tweeters will fit without a fight

but you can check the tweeter depth on the box, i think.
and you can also remove the foam 'upper cage'.

Those Maxxis are brilliant tyres and wearing very well also. Just wish they came in the exact size needed. The rims have been rashed a bit by the flattie, who now has his own car at last (!) so I'll keep these for track rims. Got a brand new set in the shed thanks to Ebay!

I think they are actually slightly different size. I know this because, I had some 160R's myself in my old car, however when I went to install them, to go for a more stealth look, I wanted to use the 1625's flush mount tweeter holder as a friend of mine had them and wasnt using them. However from memory, I JUST could not get the cover to screw on as it was a tad bigger.

But for difference in size is probably neglible and should still fit in the Verada regardless.
