From time to time, like once every three days maybe, the car will give a small surge where it seems almost to mis-fire and loses power for a split second. This happens when the car is cruising along at a set speed normally. Thinking it might be my fuel pressure regulator, I am going to change it with an after-market one with variable pressure and gauge. Just wondering if anyone who has done the swap would have some pictures of what the replacement one looked like installed. How much room it takes up etc.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for those, good reason to show off the pretty engine bays too! Sorry to be picky, but does anyone have closer pictures? i was hoping to see where the regulator joins onto the fuel rail. The engine covers obscure this part in the pictures offered. Is the old regulator completely removed from the fuel rail?

Old regulator is removed and replaced with an adapter. Rubber hose from adapter to the universal FPR.

Anyone bought one of these? Are they rubbish? Or would it do the job? Not doing huge things to my engine, just want to replace the original, its done almost 350,000.
