Had a search couldn't find anything on this.

I have side of seat airbags (car is a TL) which obviously can't be covered. I need seat covers but am poor so i was thinking of getting some cheapies and cutting holes/sewing them to leave the airbag uncovered, few questions:

1. Is this legal? As in so long as the plastic bits are well cleared.
2. Has anyone done this and has some tips?
3. Do i need to take the back seat out to fit rear cover.

nah doodyou can actually get seat covers with the air bag section removed & finally you can put seat covers on rear without removing them
