well i just finished my speaker pods/door trims i thought i would do something a little different with the speaker pods what do you all think also never mind the glue i have removed it ,i still have to finish the whole trim in black ill start that after i am finished magnatised seats

Can't say that the speaker cover is my kinda style but A for effort and finishing!! looks tops.. looking forward to see the finished product.

im thinking sound loss wasnt what you were after.. great effort but id be concerned about more muffled sound if thats fairly solid

suprisingly no loss in speaker sound one thing it did fix is i no longer have a rattle in the speaker quite odd i thought

Using non-acoustically transparent material in front of a speaker will always have losses, especially as the frequencies become higher, and more directional. If you don't notice it for standard listening then there is no real problem, but if you were to get judged at one of my car audio competitions I am sure I could shoot it down pretty quickly :)

Decent work though, how did you go about making the top edge on the map pocket neat? The only way i could think was to roll the edge of the material to make a neat finish.

tricks of the trade mate lol nah just jokes its actually quite easy i made a straight cut and used a tool that is used for puting the flyscreen into doors[you know the little roller thingy]that little tool has made my lifea lot easier thats for sure also i was only doing it for look as i have only got a head deck and 6x9s atm
