Hey All, i have a tl vr-x and i have an ec mirror laying around so naturally i want to put it in! i wanna know if anyone has any idea if the wiring is in the roof already! i searched forums couldnt really find nething! so im asking before i go ripping my car apart to find out! any help would be great thanx guys n girls
PS: I know the drivers side mirror wont work on it obviously because its not the ec mirror, but the internal one will so it doesnt really bother me for now

i did it a while ago and gave it to gas_head and he fitted it up as well. i rigged mine up to the sun roof as there was no plug.

The wiring is not there and me being too lazy to find a power source, I just spliced some wires into the back of the ciggy lighter socket and ran the wire across above the glovebox (behind the dash, im dodgy but not THAT dodgy) then up the pillar behind the plastic and under the roof lining. Its only 5 mins to run the wire and then its just a 12v and a ground so its fairly simple job really, maybe 1/2 hour at most.

i had the ec mirror in the pulsar! lol went off the wiper arm! and earthed it in the roof! i was just hoping the wiring was there! i am lazy lol

just remember to use acc or headlight switched 12v+, otherwise it'll stay on all the time aqnd it makes the mirror go funny :redface:

yeah i know, if its not raining tomoro im gonna start on the wiring! gonna run a line down to the dash and all that crap!
