Has anyone here ever had to buy a secondhand ECU and BEM for their Magna?
If so, how much did you pay for it?

i had to get one for a member it was for a TE and it was 150 second hand with 3 months warranty but that was 2 years ago. didn't need the bem cause we matched up the mitsu part nos on the ecu and mitsu installed it.

oh yeah...in the end we found out it didnt even need the ECU, it was the new key that had made the immobiliser lock itself.(wasnt programmed properly)
mechanic put a mark on the original ECU and when the replacement was made we asked for the original for reference. no mark was found on it lol. however, our mechanic said, as we bought the key from the same site, they would have to take responsibility if they admitted the key was at fault. expensive lesson learnt.
sucked a heap though as mitsu only had the software to unlock it and the car was in contract of a trade in. she now has a yuk micra...would never go there or recommend them to anyone. cost her $1600 in the end or there abouts for a tf that had been through the wars, had dog hair everywhere, dead gearbox, over 300,000km and crap paint that we got $1000 trade in. :(
