I just dropped my car into Paceway this morning for its 15000km service. $189 for an oil change basically but at least they are looking at my warranty items. I listed the following items as warranty ;
- Auto transmission changes harshly from 3rd to 4th
- aircond fan noisey
- Auto transmission light on shifter not working
Will post the results tonight :)

My aircon fan seems noisy too - do you know if this is a common fault or are they just all noisy?

My fan is on order ex-sydney and under warranty. Yours could be the same, mine was silent when i got it and now sounds like a sprintex.

Well i pick up my car from paceway this arvo :)
Fan - will be fixed part coming ex-sydney
auto box - they reckon they set the box to re-learn and that should fix it (normal thing they do during every service aparently)
Auto box light - replaced
I went to get in my car and the mechanic had left black grease marks on my white seats and everywhere you touch when you drive. Well the guys at Paceway were very quick to fix it and they cleaned it while i waited. The service was a fixed price of $189 and they did oil, filter and all other normal service checks.
All in all very happy with the service from Paceway and the car runs smoother. I think I will change the oil plugs etc before my next 30,000km service though.
Fantasia can you be more specific about the fan noise, I think I have the same problem!
I am also having some luck with Mitsubishi replacing my worn steering wheel next week and if the noises heard are similar then I would like to get the fan done as well.
Thanks

Remember when you used to put some plastic near your bike tire to simulate an engine? :P Like that i guess but instead of the click its more of a low growl that changes pitch when the fan speed increases. Bascially your aircond should be totally silent apart from the sound of air at high fan speeds.
Hope this helps :)
