HI Guys, just had Mitsubishi confirm there is a fault in my ABS unit (ABS light on dash, handbrake light on, TCL off) they have said its $1300 for a new one plus a couple hours fitting. I asked them but they werent very clear on their answer, is that the cost for a whole new ECU or just a seperate ABS unit, they made it sound like its all the one unit?
Can anyone confirm this, the reason I ask is $1300 + fitting sounds like its money best spent on full after market ECU but I know because its an Auto etc I am probably best to only stick to piggy backs - which defeats the point if the main ECU is dead... Or would a piggy back handle the ABS ****ions seperately itself??
Any suggestions?
Is it worth looking at wreckers just for replacement ecu?
Cheers
