Ok I've spent 20 minutes now looking through old threads trying to find the answer to this and I'm over looking, so I'm asking.

What type of bulb goes into the parkers in the Verada front bar? I know its the wedge type globe in the actual headlight in the Magnas, but the globe in the Verada seems quite a lot bigger and brighter, what is it?

tried asking a mitsu dealer??? they can search the part for you and order it in...

it would've taken you 5 to take one out and have a look.

1. Unscrew parker with screwdriver.
2. See bulb.
3. Buy bulb at Supercheap or similar. Took me 3 minutes :P

It's not a wedge type bulb, just a normal type one, if that makes sense :cool:

I'll do that, but its not a wedge type, I said I know the parkers in the magnas are wedges, the ones that actually fit inside the headlight, but these are separate and a lot bigger. I'll take a photo this arvo.

Not written on the globe, only thing I can get off the globe is wattage and voltage, says nothing about what type of bulb it is. Owners and Service manuals tell you jack all too.

Its not a wedge bulb, its a bayonet cap, similar to a regular tail light but a teensy bit smaller.

They are 12V5W, but I put 12V21W so thay are alot brighter.

You are looking at about $5max for a pack of 2 from supercheap/autobarn etc

If you have taken the globe out you can just take it to a place like repco and they will sell you same one

I should point out I'm not trying to find out what type goes in because one has blown, they both work fine. Thing is I'm looking at new headlight bulbs, and some come with W5W parkers to match, I want to know if they'll fit or if I have to get something else.

I've got 21w bulbs in the parkers at the moment too.

in a JDM half cut i got over from japan they had 30w bulbs in the bay 15a type bulb, in the parkers (different car, but same bulb) now i can tell you those were bloody bright parkers!! could not find them anywehere in aus.. even tried the suppliers that supply stuff to supercheap/repco/autobarn.. they had never even seen one..
