The little dash light bulb that indicates "OD OFF" blew a while ago in my TP, so I replaced it with the same wattage bulb. The new one just blew today after only a few weeks. Does anyone know why this might have happened?

Well, it could be that your voltage regulator is not working properly and you are getting over-voltage. However I wouldn't jump to any conclusions on the basis of just one failure. Besides, over-voltage would apply to all the other bulbs too. You probably just had bad luck with the replacement bulb not being up to scratch.

It is a pain in the A having to take the instrument panel out just to change the bulbs though. Wait till you get to the one in the clock.

Which reminds me that I have to need to replace the fuel warning lamp on mine. I ran out of petrol but the light didn't come on.

Yeh, just thought might be a sypmtom of a problem, but you're probably right - bad luck and made in china maybe.
