Hey guys,

Just wondering so I can fix mine up,
How do you adjust the headlights vertically?
Mine are annoying as hell because they seem to be pointed straight at the ground because I can hardly see a thing when I'm driving without high-beam.

Just to check, am I right in assuming that adjustment would be the right way to fix this? Or do I need to buy some stuff? The high-beam works fine, just normal beam that's been worrying me.

Cheers.

Open the bonnet up and near the headlights, you will see a set of phillips head screws.
Next to these screws are marking indicating L <--> R or U <--> D for left right or up and
down adjustments. There should be one set for each light, so a total of 4 sets. Park your
car on a level surface (e.g. garage) and get your partner to stand a meter from your car.
Switch on the lights and adjust until the left one is at knee level and the right one is just
below knee level. High beams obviously adjust both to knee level.

actually on the TE-TJ Exec style lights they're not marked.... The two adjusters closest to the radiator are for UP and Down.

Turn Anti-Clockwise for UP

Turn Clockwise for DOWN

Use a hex head screwdriver if you can - its a better fit than the philips. Try three turns of the wrist each side, go for a drive, try another three turns... you get the idea. The outside pair are for left/right adjustment but you rarely need those unless your car has been in a smash. Also, on the exec style lights - the whole light adjusts at once, there's no separate high/low beam adjustment.

Thanks for that.. The only thing being, it's only the low beam that need adjusting =\
