I know that there are gaskets sets e.g (T/B ,Manifold and EGR) On AMC.
But what about head gaskets?
Has anybody had then made or know were you can get some
after market ones?
I was also thinking if someones knows what the thickness of the ones that mitsu
puts in a TL VR-X as stock? I would like to know.So if someone can help out
that would be great.:)

When you mean after market ones what do you mean?
Give ACL Gaskets a call, they make tons of gaskets

most guys will tell you that you will need to remove the heads when doing the cams, apparently there is enough space to slide them out but ive never tried. As for thinner gaskets they wont be an off the shelf item so it wont be cheap.
oh and btw the pod part no was kn99-1500, forgot to PM you it.

This is true. It is a relatively time consuming job as you basically have to take everything off anyway that would be taken off to change the heads. The only bonus is that you dont have to take the heads off. If you are changing cams to ones with added lift/duration i would recommend getting your heads serviced as a minimum.

The thinner the gasket, the less the life and *insurance* you will have on it. if you wanna up the compression your better off gettin the head shaved or higher compression pistons put in. a thinner gasket will more than likely leave u with more problems than benefit

if going a MLS (multilayer steel) headgasket, its alywas better to get a thinner headgasket, as long as its not thinner then 0.6mm because you will have trouble clamping it.
the higher the compression the more a thinner headgasket makes sense, they are a weakspot, giving less crosssectional area for detonation and compression to contact the longer the headgasket will and should last.
I cant remember the stock thickness, 0.8 comes to mind. If so shaving the heads would be better in the long run, since you will probably wont find thinner before it gets too thin.
As stated by BIG4 i personally would go Hi-Comp pistons, but if i was going to do that i would also have to convince myself to rebuild the entire engine. In your case, take the heads out to change cams, not that much extra effort, and have them machined and put back in with a OEM replacement by ACL or similar.
