hey guys

as some of u know i love LCD screens in my car. anyway im installing another 2 but this time i will be installing them. anyway, the power/earth have been connected, rca (or whatever its called for video installed) and they are working brilliantly. however, my question is when i have my accessories off all my screens are off bar the ones ive installed- they have either read "no signal" or the red power button is lit up. as you would be aware this constant power would drain the battery very quickly. is there a way to make this power go away lol, is it the screens themselves or have i missed something on install?

cheers guys

What are you powering them from? Directly from the battery? If its direct from the battery they won't turn off, nothing is there to tell them to. Best bet is to run the positive power from somewhere like the Ciggie lighter, unless the screens themselves have a remote wire you can connect to accessories.

theres no remote wire :( just the rca (video, and 2 sound(not worrying about sound)), ground and power. as theres no remote would it be possible to black them out another way minus running a switch? and yep running from the splitter box. cheers mate

Nope, only way to do it would be to run it from something that does go off with the accessories, aka the ciggy lighter as Lugo suggested.

Move your power wire for each display from where ever its connected now to the ciggie connection. Thats all you need to do.
