Hi all!

I own a stock 1997 TE Magna Advance. And i REALLY want to start doing her up . . . I kinda need some help!

SO here is what im going to start off with (in order-as i get money i will do something else)

-A damn tune up (damn car just dones not sound right!)
-Platnum Spark Plugs (Performance)
-New thicker ignition leads (Performance)
-Suspension Upgrade (i dont like the floaty feel of the suspension so im going lowered and stiffer!!)
-R&N Ram Pod Filter with Cold Air Induction & Throttle Body (flowed or equivelent)
-Extractors
-Hi-Flow 2.5" Cat Back System
-Magnaflow Exhaust Muffler & Tip
-Fuel Presure Regulator
-Bigger Cams
-A Piggy Back Computer & Dyno Tune up

The main things i need help with is what types of sparks, leads, suspension, Throttle body, extractors, cat-back system, FPR, cams, piggy back i should get. Any suggestions? Also i need somewhere local (sydeny) at would do the harder stuff for me....Anything to add?? Also, i dont wanna lower it too far because i wanna put a body kit on her! I want her to sound kinda ricey when im done....

Any thoughts on this order?

Cheers,

Platinum plugs(100000kms) are standard only on the rear bank and not the front bank of the engine. The front uses standard sparkies to ba changed at 40000kms

marked in green:
how do you expect to 'tune up' your car? there is nothing to 'tune' you cant tell your OEM ECU what to do. so the best thing for this is to make sure plugs/oil ect ect are up to scratch and are in good working order.

ones marked in red:
dont bother: perhaps just change the plugs / inspect leads (but the OEM leads are already pretty good. as for the cams - throw that idea out the window. you dont put fancy cams on a stock as a rock internal engine. a lot more mods (for eqlivent price) will yeld better results such as porting and polishing etc etc. the fuel pressure reg you wont need if you are gonna get a greddy. your greddy can program higher rate of fuel etc etc. or if you wanted full pressure into your engine, just block the fuel return valve.

ones marked in bold:
do before the greddy and do as close to eachother as possible.

Marked in blue:
do last.

Hey.

Thanks for the tips Booya! Ummm, What i ment by a tune up, is takeing her to a grease monkey and getting him to service the car  Sorry.... :p
Anyways, where would be the best place to buy a suspension package, the pod, TB, Extractors, hi-fo low resistance cat-back, muffler + tip? Anyone know of good places? Id really like to order them in then get a grease monkey around sydney to install some of the stuff....

Is the car tinted?? if so, is it dark enough?? Cos i, personally, would drive a tinted VW with no floor and a stool for a seat before i drove any car untinted. for the couple hundred bucks it costs its makes a surprisingly large difference to the look of the car AND it serves a purpose! How many mods can you say that about?!
