Hoping someone has done this before...
I do a lot of travel etc...and have a mattress and curtains set up in the back of my wagon, however as all the wagon owners out there know when the rear seat is folded flat it isnt exactly flat but ramped a little, making slightly uncomfortable to sleep on.
Im sure the rear seat can be taken out one way or another but wanted to know if anyone has done it i.e. how much trouble was it getting in and out?
ill be having a hack at it myself this weekend either way

i dno much about wagons, but maybe you could do something like my dads 4wd, the rear seats fold up against the front chairs if you know what i mean, so you have an extra metre of room, and you didnt have to remove the seats, should be just a few brackets or something. someone else might be able to help you. sorry i wasnt much help

Well in the sedans, there are two pull clips which when released allow you to remove the seat base within seconds. Might be the same in the wagons. If the seat base is removed, would that allow the backrests to then fold flat?

Yeah, try remove the seat base where your bum sits in the back, its just two clips that are under the base at the front where the back of your legs would sit against it, just feel along the edge and youll find them, unclip them and remove the seat base and the back should fold down flat, to reattach the base you just push it back into place where it came out of and it will clip back in.

Your right if you think about it logically it would be better to pull out the seat base rather than the folding back rest, ill have a look/feel for the tabs,

Cheers
