hmmm some feedback for a start some smaller photo's waiting 20 seconds for a photo to load lets just face it isnt fun

dun really like those switch's . when i needed to add switch's i too made up a little console hmm i think the photo is on my website somewhere but it looks ugly so now i would mount them in the center console bin where there out of sight.

im 50/50 on the painting it looks nice but so does the stock color you did a nice job but its not my thing

I'm just curious what u meant by having a VRX exhaust and Lukey muffler when the sports and the VRX has the same system.... :D

well when i first got the car the guys at mitsubishi put the full vrx/sports "medium sports" exaust system on my car which gave it a bit of power.. but it wasnt loud enough for me so the guy sugested to put a lukey muffler on there and it would be louder.. I could have been told lies i dont know.. But its alot louder now

What sort of paint did you guys use?
what preparation did you do?
and if you did it again would you do it differently?

Manual would be the man to speak to about that... i got mine paited by a car painter.. they did prep the plastic and used a hardner with two pac paint with a coat of clear. this way the paint wont fall off and looks glossy! Manual did his himself he might give you some good info

I have a 2002 TJ Sports. Im getting the K&N filter next week from blake.

I was thinking of the Pace or RP extractors but will prolly have to wait till my warranty expires.

I should have a similar car to you then :-)

Which made the biggest difference, the Filter or the Pace extractors.??

I wonder if the RPW extractors are worth the extra $$$ ???

Anyone got the rpw unit?

edit: Has anyone Dynoed a Sports/Vrx with Extractors plus filter to see is there is any "real" increase in KW's???

Nick and I will be doing this.

Nicks got extractors and zorst and k&n ram pod. (His is a 2001 sports), plus a few other added bits.. cams and such..

Ill be going stock everything or maybe just sticking in the K&N Panel filter. (I drive a 2002 VR-X II)

The RPW extractors (which we stock also) have dropped to $605.00 AUD and are a much better design over the pacemakers.

Its just up to you guys whether you can justify the extra money to get those extra kw's. Since the price has dropped the RPW extractors are now much more appealing. Definatly worth a look.

Can you explain why they are better?

The $200+ price difference would mean theyd have to be far superior?

The pacemakers only supply the headers, they don't supply the flex pipes etc so they pacemakers bolt up to your original flex pipes. The rpw come with everything you need to bolt up to your cat.

While the pacemakers will give you superior performance over your stock headers, the RPW design will go onse step further. It might only give you a couple of extra kw's but its up to you to decide whether or not they are worth it.

If i had a V6 id be putting RPW's on, but if i was on a budget, the pacemakers do a great job.
