hi.

at tafe ive started a project were ive been given a 3.5l engine in frame, a wirring harness, and a ecu. now the the loom is from a manual and so is the ecu we think but we cant find any books, wirring diagrams with the pinouts of the ecu and what they are..

basically ive got it running using just the ecu but my lecturer wants the fuel pump feed to come from the ecu as well as the check engine light, and the oxy sensors.

we think the engine was a protto type but that may be incorrect.

i was wondering if anyone can help get the pinouts of the ecu.

it has three plugs.
this is the info off the ecu.

You need the workshop manual.
links to the download are on the site.

Has all the wiring diagrams that you need.

Have a look on the engine block and find what looks like a clock.

There should be a year, month and day code on it.
This will basically decide what model series the engine and bits came from.
