I just serviced the car yesterday. mechanic told me i need to replace a new water pump to cool down the engine.

The GSB automotive mechanic told me the price is $400 (genuine part + labour). Is there any after market water pump?

Does anyone know any cheap place to get new part and know good mechanic and fit for cheap price?

I willingness to travel for within 10KM (Glen Waverley).

only $85 thats sound cheap. where you get it and where did you get it installed? also want want to ask how many water pump(s) for a magna?

I just replaced mine myself and the pump + coolant cost me about $80... took me 1.5 hours and a skinned knuckle but it was worth it... I would not have got home otherwise!
