flat head + pop it.

Shouldn't be to hard to get out so not too much force. Flat head underneath the flat bits and twist. If no pop move closer to the centre and repeat.

There are two metal clips at each end. I think one end is more conducive to removal than the other, but can't remember which; as GoTRICE said, pry a large flathead under either end and lift, if it doesn't want to pop out easily try the other end.

That said, I wouldn't go out and buy a new switch without testing the current one; do you have a multimeter or anything like that? Could just be a lose connector or something. Also could try applying power directly to the up and down wires, just to make sure the regulator is working (actually, EARTH either of those two; the blue wire is the single power supply, green-blackis the earth for UP, red-blue is earth for DOWN. Obviously the blue is working so check the UP earth)

Or Take off the door card, Then the handle, then slide the switch out - thats how i did it so i dont put any screwdriver marks in it

i can get the window to go up if u get a screw an wedge the button upwards. so i think the actual button has snapped on the inside. could i jus take the button by itself off?

Damned if I would pay $40.
I got the whole set of switches for all doors +2 factory Mags + 2 bottom struts for $45 from UPullit in Adelaide. Tell him $5 no more.
