Tried to book in the 380 at Penfold Mitsubishi to have a look at a squeak coming from the front suspension, was told that it's not covered by warranty and I'll have to pay 70 bucks for the check? Does this sound reasonable or should I go somewhere else.

I'm not sure where you stand with altered suspension (ie lowered), but certainly if your car is all-standard, they should be happy to check it. Its your call but I'd change to a different dealer if mine said something like that.

If its under warranty then it should be looked at for free but I would recommend bringing it up at the next service (but expect to be charged for it if its a non-warranty issue).

Otherwise go somewhere else.

hi ive been discussing 380 warranty with my old man and was wondering if anyones had any issues with aftermarket mods and warranty.

Car has stock suspension, not lowered. I've got 16 inch alloys with the original tyres, not sure if they'll pick on this ? It's the same diameter as the original steel rims.
