Hey all - quick question re draining fluid from a TS 2.6 autobox. Dad tells me the Mitsu dealer said there 5 (!!) drain plugs which he reckons he found.

The two I knew about on the sump pan and the diff casing just behind the pan. But Dad tells me there were 3 more 12mm bolts that feed what says are "torque converter lines" ??

Now i have no idea why there would be any external access to torque converter fluid feeds...

What has Dad undone?? He called because he was having trouble getting a consistent dipstick reading, so i just said start-engage all gears sequentially-put back in park-take a reading engine idling.

He seemed to think there was only a Hot marking on the dipstick, but am pretty sure it had a Cold marking as well....

I have not laid eyes on the car in ages and its a long way away, so any help deciphering what Dad is saying would be appreciated!!

Just get ur foot and beat the front shassy rail a few times, then stand on one side of the car and shake it. vigoursly (may need 2 ppl). Then re start the engine rev it hard a few times. It'll be sweet after that :P
