So an update to the previous post with the oil leaks in to get fixed... Mechanic just called, he opened up the rocker cover to fix up one of the leaks, and the timing belt is soaked in oil. So there go's another $300 for a new timing belt.

Repair cost has now gone from $950 to $1250. This is getting very expensive very quick.

the trick is regular stuff makes it less of a big blow at once..

Yep, thats car repairs for you. I had the same thing, caught the gaskets in time, cost a lot less that way. Always helps to have a quick look under the bonnet now and then.

I did them for $30.........where did you buy yours from? Shoulda gone and seen Deano at Wolfys man....
