I dont think deep dish rims a a FWD car is try hard.

my 2c
a magna without spending big $$$ can't be made a seriously fast car so cosmetics are the only option
deep dish alloys look fantastic but you might wanna try to source a AWD badge off either an AWD magna or a euro sigma
like i said looks are everything when it comes to a magna IMHO

simmons FR-19 style dish looks fantastic
but as i said above looks are all most magnas can have because it costs too bloody much to actually make em fast

2jz cressida?
i get asked this everytime i mention i have a cressida, its reasonably stock
just done some breathing mods and some rims and stereo, next up is the kit and all the associated mods for an engine conversion (brakes etc) and then see how we go form there

i struggle to think of a better sleeper than an oldish RWD cressida with a 2JZ GTE under the bonnet

i think if its staggered deep dish then yeah thats pretty try hard, although if its even thats okay, so long as its not deeeeep deep dish..
I reckon they would look good on a RWD magna ......
So put em on the BA Verada then! Most powerful err magna here
Davo!

deep dish all round is cool, my rims have a fair amount. but if your meaning little dish up front and lots of dish at the rear, then no. It does of course look great on rwd performance cars, imports and stuff, but not on a fwd.

shame a set of those with tyres cost nearly as much as some 3rd Gens :P
Dished rims looks hot!

they are the same wheels as mine, now... and i need tyres as well, so it's a win-win situation-except the bank account

I would call that dish.. Depends if wheels stay in the guards or hang out..
They most dish you can have on these things and still keep wheels under the guards looks like this.. Its no crazy dish but the most you will get on a magna...:P

I always thought something looked odd on your car.......no side mirror.....

A sensible amount of dish would look hot on any Magna/Verada

dont you legally only need a drivers side one?

I think a little bit looks hot... not too much on a FWD car, definatley NOT the staggered look...
I have a bit of a lip on mine...

Older 80's cars only had a drivers mirror.
I think the story with the mirror is he knocked it off on the driveway fence or something, hadn't been replaced when the photos were taken.
Anyway, dish looks great, just don't go overdoing it on the rear like its a RWD and yeah all good

They are AMG Vortex Wheels.. Thats a old pic now.. i took the mirror out on the fence at home..:P Car has had a respray, new door handles and brembos fitted since then..
Thats as much dish as you can get on the rear. im 3mm from hitting on the inside and cant get fingers between guard and tyre on the outside. they are BA falcon offset too..:)

the rears look like they could do with some 15-20mm spacers
there are 20mm bolt on spacers (which are legal in qld) for around $200 these days
wide wheels on a magna is a bit of overkill, and finding the right offset is hard thats where they come in handy
still very nice overall look

lmao :D
on the dish rim debate, i have no problem with them. its excessive chrome that annoys me. i like chrome, but if you have bucketloads you are trying way to hard.

i think deep dish rear looks odd on sedans of any type.
coupes or utes only :D
however, if you do want something wider on the rear, go a different offset. add the extra width on both sides of the rims, not just 2" extra dish :P
