Both of my CV joints are in desperate need of a reco. But i havent got the cash to fix em. Its been like this for a few months, making painful ticing noises as i turn.
What i need to know is whether its a serious problem? Can i leave it for a while more or am i risking a wheel falling of :?
Also what will it roughly cost for the parts to fix it?
Thanks
well yur not risking a wheel falling off.......but u are risking seizure...in which case it will not be pretty.......
how bad is it? is it just ticking? or going "clunk clunk clunk" when yur turning?

its going clunk clunk clunk :?
even on a slight bend in the road it'll 'clunk' away
how serious is it ?
please tell me its fixable.. cheap?
im scared now..
it is fixable, i got my left hand drive shaft and CV joint replaced as it only 'clunked' in one direction. and it was about $100, cant say exactly as i had it done when i had a whole lot of other stuff done at the same time.

I can get club members Exchange shafts with new outer and reco inner for about the $110.00 mark.
Any one interested let me know. For Melbourne guys I can also arrange fitment if needed.
