Just changed the automatic oil and filter on my TH wagon (200,000)
Did it myself
I followed the workshop manual
a few little tricks if you plan to do it yourself.
jack the car up
remove the stone guard under the car
remove passenger side wheel
remove internal mudguard on passenger side
when draining oil out of oil cooler use two tubes as oil comes out of both radiator and transmission side
when filling up with new oil , fill it slowly as the filler tube burps and spits oil at you.
I used a funnel from super cheap only $4 a nice long one jams in between cold air intake and air filter
2 x 5 liter and filter from Mits $84
use all 10 liters gives you about 2 flushes and a oil change ( I took sample between each flush sample 1 black horrible smelly
sample 2 brown and foamy
sample 3 red brown
final flush reddish smells normal
do initializing of automatic
drive 3 sec ,neutral 3 sec repeat 5 times
reverse 3 sec, neutral 3 sec repeat 5 times
take for drive accelerate to 60km’s (so car does a 2-3 change) repeat 5 times
So 2 hours later car :D
