CD player will require both a Constant power and an ACC power.

Why the hazards:S
I'd wire it into the factory CD Loom which will have power and ACC

The memory wire usally yellow requires constant power to keep memory so connect it to the battery or somewhere where there is power even when ignition is off and the power wire usally red should be connected to the acc side of the ignition switch .As in posts above the easiest way is to tap into the original radio wiring.Use a test light to separate the power wires from the speaker wires and your laughing.

If you wire the 12V and Acc wrong the unit will still work but you wont have a memory. Just make sure you hook them up to the right ones :D

If in doubt buy a $9 12V light, it will tell you whether there is a current. When it lights up with the keys out that is the 12V. Turn the key to Acc or On and a different wire will light up, that the Acc. You will notice the 12v still lights up as well. If you turn your lights on, you can find the illumination as well. Better yet, buy a multimeter.

Hehe when installing a car alarm I couldnt be bothered trying to find the 12V wire from the HU, I wired straight in to the ignition harness (girlfriends festiva)... nice thick bitch of a wire, accidently cut the whole thing and had to extend it with very high grade speaker wire :|

why dont you just run a fused wire straight from the battery?

Its easy to do like a couple of ppl have said above,
all you need is 10 mins and a test light.

Make sure the yellow wire coming out of your deck has constant power (acc off),
and the make the red wire only have power when you put acc on.

What happened to the wiring that went to the factory deck?

The car's already wired for both, you've just got to wire them both in with the deck..
