Would ford brakes fit magna's or in that matter any other 114.3 PCD car? is it just offsets that will be affecting or is it much larger problem
not sure if this is a stupid question or not.

The easiest way to get big brakes on a Magna is to source some second hand Brembos off an Evo 6-9. Just make sure you get some Evo rims aswell, other wise the Caliper wont fit behind the spokes on normal Magna rims.

not a stupid q mate cos i have thought about it once or twice.
you need to be careful of bolt spacing and disc offset. If those two things are ok, then go your hardest.

rofl... hedgie's got anything but normal Magna rims.
you finally gonna get some brakes to fill up those rims, huh?

well yeah, would be a matter of raiding a DBA catalogue to get the disc specs, and just checking if they will bolt up to the same bolt holes on the axle, standard ford calipers are made by PBR, Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo maybe they might bolt up (and yes i know we are talking brembos but the ford brembos use the same bolt holes as the standard brakes)

The Territory discs are hefty, I wish the Merc ML series sets bolted on :(
PM Schnell about his corvette front upgrade, there's a kit available but it's near $2K for the fronts only, guess you can shuffle your orig fronts to the back.
The Skylines run the same pattern too. As do some 2nd Gens lol

yeah hopefully! just noticed ford fpv brakes were nice and big and apparently there is alot getting around so was hoping this could be a nice solution!
a problem could occur in the offsets because FPV's have different offsets front to rear im although im pretty sure its 42 - 36/38, which could maybe end up being perfect.
my rims are 42 offset aswell so i got a big of clearance behind there.
the other problem with them not bolting up right, what specs do i wanna look for to compare it to magnas? obviously were not talking stud patterns

the Ford FPV brakes are what a few of us have on the fronts (TZABOY, Schnell and myself that I know of). they are APR C6 Corvette calipers (which are used by FPV and HSV), mated with 320mm Evo rotors. the biggest problem is getting the bracket made up to mount the calipers in the correct position. I can't imagine they have different mounting points for the Brembos.
Peter @ Hoppers Stoppers has a bracket made up which suits the purpose, so maybe you might want to see if he'll sell you a set.
of course, this is all for the fronts only. I have no idea what the rears would be like to fit, although I can't imagine it's anything worse than the fronts (i.e. a bracket to mount the caliper in the right position).
good luck man!

Yeah Peter Koning is your man. What he doesn't know about doing custom setups for Magnas isn't worth knowing. Very happy with my setup - not cheap but sucks your eyeballs outa their sockets and sooooo progressive that you can just dial in brake pressure with your big toe lol
