I got my old car done at Custom Exhausts I think it was called in Osborne Park, would recommend them and go there again. One of the only places not to recommend a 2.5 inch exhaust for a 64kw (when new) engine, and let me hear two different mufflers before welding it up. Decent price, and considering they chucked on a nice tip on the end which I didnt know they would, probably one of the cheapest.
Ill leave the specifics to others, dont have much knowledge on what works with the magna's, although from memory try to get a decent large resonator so that you get a nice deep note and little droning.

The Redback cat back systems are still the best bang-for-buck bolt on system. There are now revised mufflers with better glass packing than previous releases - so the note is subtle at idle and part throttle but pretty purposeful under load without the in-car drone.
Pacemakers and Hurricanes are you best products for extractors. You can fit a high flow cat down the track.
Probably set you back upto $800 for catback and extractors. Don't skimp on the extractors - there are plenty of cheaper items but the Pcmkrs and Hrrcns are better designed. I've posted about 6000 words discussing the two sets on AMC so 'search' button will give you plenty of info to evaluate and consider the best set for you application, gearing and likely operating rpm.

All of which I say Amen to. Costs were different tho. Redback catback cost me 500 fitted. Pacemaker extractors (albeit ceramic coated) were closer to $1400 fitted....

i got a set of X-force extractors (primaries, secondries, flex joins, 2 sets of gaskets and bolts hehehe) all bolt up right up to the cat for $1XX.XX.. (RRP i think is about 380-400)
firstly i'd like to point out.. they will not work as good as a set of pacey's.. but then again a set of pacey's won't flow as good as a set of proper fabricated set, with merge collectors etc..
how long is a peice of string??.. spend a couple of hundred to well over a thousand..
a set of custom 6 cyl pipes.. you would look at least 2 days labour (from a experienced facbricator, not billy bob's sick exhaust shop 'yeh mate we've got a MIG aye' which would charge out at about $550 a day, plus about $250-$300 in materials..
ppl underestimate what a decent set of merge collectors do.. on a mild chev 350 on an engine dyno, it's not unheard of to see a set of average extractors, with normal press cone collectors make X hp.. then a set tapered Merge collectors be fitted to the same extractors, the engine develops another 80 odd hp, and they lean right out so you have to fuel them up and you make an extra 20 odd hp through that.. sounds unbeliveable i know.. but don'e underestimate the effect sizes tapers flares lengths etc etc have on exhaust gasses..
