Topic speaks for itself. Only reason I'm asking this is because,

-I have an exhaust joint telling me that noone has made extractors for TL/TW, only up to the TJs and are refusing to fit them as the catalogue doesn't mention a TL/TW model.

If anyone has them fitted, having them modified to fit please speak up. Please include cost for parts and labour as well as location. So far i have sourced parts to be ~$450-$460 and labour to be approx, ~$250-300

Just go to HP Muffler centre man. They should be able to do it that day and drop it off to you since you work 30 seconds away.

Tidd Brothers exhausts will do it - good bunch of blokes. Located on Hudson Rd in Spotswood.

they were the ones that quoted me about $250-$300 to fit and won't guarantee it will bolt right up if i supplied it as i can get the parts for approx $450-$460 and if they supply the part it would be in the $500ish range.

i heard they did your engine pipe and they said you loved it.

Try it yourself. The rear manifold might be a pain. But you will get there. I did my Pajero myself in apx 3 hours taking my time. Driver side wasnt bad but the passenger side was a pig and mine is lifted. Mrs thought i was getting a sun tan in the engine bay. Wont be too difficult on your car.

i thought that vrxs have a large enough manifold as standard. are there any gains in putting aftermarket ones on?

no with extractors/headers aftermarket ones are usually have tuned length runners and have a scavanging effect to enhance certain rpm ranges. Talk to ezboy about headers/extractors as he is a guru at anything technical
