Hey there Booze, I was just pm'ing you went you must have posted on here. Yeah I remember that rear bar, but actually now I wouldn't mind your bonnet, mine is slightly speckled from stone damage (I don't know what the previous owner did to it but it bugs me, still its not that noticeable).

Anyway, you recommend the Tint Professor? How long does it take to get done? Did you do the front windscreen too?

you only get trouble when you go out looking for it. stay sensible and you have no issues

Its a magna - Just tell them the tint is so people don't steal your walking stick
Again, I've been pulled over many times and not once have they said anything about my car (Bar the pod filter)
Its a magna in the end not a VN commodore

no... the tint is to prevent the cardigan and box of tissue on the parcel shelf from fading in the sun :P

20% tint.. the perfect level imo, dark enough to look a lot cooler than 35%(legal), but light enough to still be able to drive around with without any hassle
http://members.westnet.com.au/woobie/images/20percent.jpg

5%... very badass looking, literally cant see through from 1 side of the car to the other on a bright day. But try reversing at night, its nearly impossible :P

thanks. Good to hear they were quick too as I wouldn't want to leave my car with them too long. You aren't able to use the windows once tinted for a day or so are you?

no problems in the last 1 hour of driving haha, since i got the tint. but honestly, its a stock silver verada 00, ive never been pulled over... touch wood.

Although was a thread mine by the above poster, I think the info is still valid.....

DO NOT use Tint Professor.

I know some have had a good run but I and many I know have not

I had to take Rick to Office Of Fair Trading as mine was a total mess from the day I got it back

The Drivers window had peeling within 48 hours, the right rear quater window (KR Verada) was peeling within a week and the whole rear window was a mass of bubbles. The inside of the car was drenched as were my rear 6 x 9's. I went back to him and he tried to tell me that my car was old so the glass had warped. He said it would be fixed, this was done by sending some lady out with a blade and pin to poke holes in some of the bigger bubbles and also to remove the corner that was peeling on the front window.

I went back several times over several weeks only to get given a new time to come back because they were busy. I eventually went to OFT and they (OFT) gave Tint Professor 21 days to either give me a full refund or repair. Some guy comes to pick up the car, left the loan car, took my car to Dandenong to rectify. This time I removed all the audio gear, rear seat and rear pillar covers. They still managed to drench my roof lining.

About a year on I had moved to Adelaide and I was getting peeling, bubbles etc all over. Was total crapola.

I will only go to Tint a Car these days as I have also had cars done by them and were always 100% with no issues at all.
