well i wanted to do a flame job like lloyds[yld35l] but we are gonna scrap that idea anyhoo does anyone have any ideas on paint i.e 2tone or black with yellow pearl 4tone etc ? please any ideas would help

I dunno if you've seen the latest or close to latest zoo but something like the paint job on the Dodge Caliber you can win would be sweet. Black with yellow bonnet (bonnet has some black detailing too) and a yellow roof. Throw some big black rims on it and a chrome grill and you'll be set.

yeah i am thinkin 2tone black on top and corvette red at the bottom or even black iwth the rainbow metal flake and red ice effect or even red sponge effect on the bottom i am really diggin the sponge effect look

if you go two-tone and keep the bottom half silver you wont have to paint the engine bay or door jams (unless you were going to anyway). this will save a heap of time/money. many a car i have painted but haven't done the engine bay (usually because of $$)and it looks woeful. i reckon something like a co**** metallic gunmetal over silver with a red pinstripe would look alright and tie in with your red and black interior.
I still reckon your vinyl roof idea is a goer though. a dark grey on the silver car lowered with some classy luxo looking rims and a splash of chrome trim would look sweet and be different.

dood your paint turned out schmik if ya dont mind me asking how much did the paintjob cost and what was your original colour mate

my original colour was the green, as i didnt want to do a full colour change as it would have been more expensive as you need to do the engine bay and inside the door sills and stuff, so i ended up getting the green redone as i really liked the colour to begin with and the black was added with the pin stripe as a last minute thing just before they started the respray.
i got it really cheap at mates rates, 2500 but i not sure on how much it would have cost at normal rate, problerley around 8000 or more mark, as it was a tricky job to do, and i got full colour coding done while i was at it.
i was skeptical at going ahead with it first, but glad i did, i get a lot of looks and turned heads, and its not too "in your face" its subtle.

ok i have got an idea what to do and what colours to use just need the new panels and the hail fixed on the roof

got a bonnet coming [i did this roof lining for a car yard ]and they are giving me one and now all i gotta do is the roof [which i will be getting a quote for this friday mate
