So within 2 days of getting the car, the immobiliser remote quits playing ball. That's cool. Get a new battery. Still no ball. Keh?
Any suggestions other than the fact the circuitboard is now covered in fingerprints thanks to the rather difficult task of extracting a circular battery from a 3-point cage? I can hit it with alcohol wipes tomorrow, otherwise, it's key only...

If you still have your owners manual it tells you how to program your remote if you change the battery. also when you pulled it apart did the circuit board remove completely from both remote casing if so then try soldering it back on carefully or go and get a new remote.
These seem to break easy when you accidently drop your remote.

Well I just pried apart the remote and the circuit board isn't actually attached to anything, just sits in that shell?
Cheers I'll go check the reprogramming now and see how I go.

Tried what it said in the manual and no dice. Pulled the battery out of it, put it back in, and it worked. Cheers mate! Have an e-cookie :D
